General objectives - The general goal is to create a highly competitive network of researchers who, in collaboration with the clinical realities dedicated to treatment, advance both scientific knowledge and develop innovative tools for the diagnosis, planning and monitoring of treatments for neuro-oncological diseases.

Overall vision - A strong multidisciplinary approach will be used to implement research programs, innovative devices and interventions that offer an increasingly personalized treatment for the individual patient:

  • advanced neuroimaging to enhance the diagnosis and treatment of neuro-oncological pathology;
  • development and optimization of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring techniques in brain tumor surgery;
  • molecular characterization of tumor tissues;
  • relationship between resection of subcortical bundles and recovery of cognitive deficits.
